Where do your vehicles come from?
Japan Auto Exports sources all its vehicles from the used car auctions. Auctions sell used cars with mileage guarantee and each car is checked and graded for quality.

Do you supply auction car check report?
Yes, we keep record of auction report for each car. Please feel free to ask and we will email you the scanned copy of such report.

What is FOB price?
FOB means freight on board. It does not include the freight from Japan to your country.

What is C&F price?
C&F means cost and freight. It includes the freight from Japan to your country.

Is insurance included in the price?
Insurance is not included in our price. At your request we can insure your vehicle during transit.

Are there any inspection charges?
There are no inspection charges at all, there is no hidden cost either. We do not purchase damaged vehicles or repaired cars. We keep stock of never accident vehicles of good quality. All this is done after careful inspection which is free of charge.

How to buy a vehicle?
Our expert team will assist you purchase and import a vehicle from Japan and save $$$. You can select a vehicle from our stock and email us your choice. We will send invoice with instructions on how to effect payment. Partial payment can be accepted before shipment, the balance can be paid after the copy of shipping documents is faxed to the customer. Once balance is paid in full, original set of documents will be sent to customer.

How to buy vehicle not listed in stock?
If you wish to buy a vehicle which is not listed in our stock, simply email us your choice and we will arrange the purchase of a vehicle on the request of our customers.

How soon can you ship the car?
We can start arranging the shipment process next day we confirm your initial payment.

Do you accept payment through Letter of Credit?
No, we do not accept this method of payment.

How do I pay for my vehicle?
Wire transfers / telegraphic transfers are the most efficient method of payment.

Can I pay through credit card?
Yes you can. We accept payment through credit cards and this can be done through secure payments via Paypal.

How will my vehicle be delivered to me?
Vehicles can be delivered to you by ro-ro or container vessel. Please advise us the method you prefer. We will accommodate your requirements the best we can.

How long will it take before I receive my vehicles?
Arrival time depends on the destination. Please advise us the name of country and port at which you wish to pick up your vehicle and we will give expected departure and arrival dates.

What is ETD and ETA?
ETD is expected time of departure, and ETA is expected time of arrival.

What documents do you provide?
We purchase all our cars from used cars auctions. We can provide you the Car Inspection Document from Auction, Car Ownership document called Deregistration Export Certificate, Bill of Lading 3 original sets, Insurance Policy Certificate (in case you buy an insurance), and a Commercial Invoice. Inspection Certificate from JAAI is also available on request.

How are the documents sent?
All shipping documents are sent by courier to you after the ship sails. The documents will always arrive before the ship arrives at your designated port.

How do I clear my vehicle from the ship?
Please contact your local shipping agent who will instruct you on procedures.
